Background

Johnny grew up in a small town in the Midwest. He was raised by his grandparents after his parents died when he was young. He always thought of himself as an outsider and never quite fit in with the other kids. He was a loner and spent most of his time reading books and studying military history. He was fascinated by the art of war and the strategies used by great military leaders throughout history. His grandfather always instilled in him the importance of honor, loyalty, and duty. While his grandmother taught him the value of compassion, kindness, and understanding. The reality of the world was harsh and unforgiving, and while a lesser person might have been crushed by it, Johnny's sense of justice and duty made him strive to always do the right thing. This meant that in order to protect the innocent, sometimes he had to do things that were not always 'the right thing' for the greater good.

He joined the military at the age of 20 and served for 8 years. He was a member of the Special Forces, where he met Dante and Jackie, and later joined them to enter the Intelligence Service. He was tasked with planning and executing complex operations alongside Dante. His ability to think on his feet and adapt to changing situations made him a valuable asset to the service.

Relationship to other characters

Dante, Johnny and Jackie all served in the military together and are close friends. Johnny met Theresa soon after arriving in Black Water and the two quickly became friends. Johnny was looking for assets for their team and found her after she stole his wallet. He was impressed by her skills and instead of having her arrested confronted her and offered her the role. She accepted and has been a valuable asset to the team ever since.
