Background

Bobby was born and raised in the Slums of Black Water. He lived with his younger sister, who was his only family. She struggles with respiratory issues but because of their financial situation, they can't afford the medical care she needs. Bobby took on various odd jobs to make ends meet, but it was never enough. He turned to a life of crime to help his sister, where he learned the value of information. He became a master of disguise and infiltration, using his skills to gather information throughout the city and sell it to the highest bidder. But selling information is a dangerous game, and Bobby has made many enemies along the way.

Living in The Slums gives him the opportunity to disappear into the shadows without being noticed. In the slums of Black Water, losing your parents is not uncommon, and Bobby's story is a common one in The Slums. Adults who don't work for, or with, the gangs are often killed. So the nickname "The Kid" stems from his youthful appearance but also a reminder of the dangers of living in The Slums by the same people who made him an orphan to begin with.

Relationship to other characters

Bobby's loyalty lies with his sister, who he will do anything to protect. Though he is close to the others, he relates closer to Theresa, who also grew up in the slums.

He was introduced to Dante through a fixer who operates in The Slums, and often sells information that Bobby gathers. Dante saw potential in Bobby and offered him a place in the crew. Bobby accepted, seeing it as an opportunity to make more money and protect his sister, rather than a chance to make friends.
