Dante "Iceman" DiTeramo

Overview

Dante is a former soldier who returned home after his service in the military to find the city he grew up in to be unrecognizable. He is a skilled fighter in hand-to-hand combat and a master tactician. His one defining characteristic is his ability to remain calm and collected in the face of danger, which has earned him the nickname "Iceman".

Background

Dante was born and raised in the city of Black Water. He and his brother worked for a small construction company that their father started with his best friend Giuseppe. Sadly, their father died in a construction accident when Dante was 8 years old and his brother was 16. His brother continued to raise his brother and start working for Giuseppe, who promised to pass the company on to him when he retired. Sadly, tragedy struck again when the mob began to extort the company and despite Giuseppe's best efforts to stand up to the mob, he was killed along with Dante's brother. Dante watched as both Giuseppe and his brother were gunned down in front of him and in an attempt to run away, he was shot in the back and left for dead. He was found by a family friend who took him in, nursed him back to health, and helped him leave the city.

He joined the military at a young age by forging his documents at the age of 16 and served in the Army for 10 years. He was a member of the Special Forces and later joined the Intelligence Service. He was tasked with infiltration and intelligence gathering in enemy territory. Which required him to be able to blend in with the locals and gather information without being detected. He was known among his peers for his ability to remain calm and collected in the face of danger, which earned him the nickname "Iceman".

He was honorably discharged after being wounded in combat and returned home to Black Water. He quickly found out that the same men who killed his brother and Giuseppe grew their power over the year and had a stranglehold on the city. He vowed to take them down and bring justice for his family.

Relationship to other characters

Dante, Johnny and Jackie all served in the military together and are close friends. Dante is fiercely loyal to his friends and will do anything to protect them.
